After the tremendous success of volcano vaporizers, the company has modified the device and introduced a brand new one: volcano digit vaporizer!
As the name suggests, this vaporizing device has a fully digital temperature control system. In the previous design, the volcano classic vaporizer, the control systems were totally analog. The advantages of going digital are obvious.
One gets to accurately and precisely set the temperature using the button provided on the control panel. No more turning of the radial dial to set the temperature ‘as close as possible’ to a desired one. The digital readout makes the process very straightforward and quick. Technically speaking, the volcano digit offers a temperature accuracy of +/- 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit while the classic version has a temperature accuracy of +/- 9 degrees Fahrenheit.
The temperature range offered by volcano digit is also larger as compared to the classic version. Particularly, the digital version has a range of 104-446 degrees while the classic version supports 226-446 degrees. Both of these models are fully interchangeable, supporting either the easy valve system or a solid valve(The Benefits of Hunter SRV Series Valves) system.
Another difference between the digital version and classic version is that, in the classic design, the base unit maintains the exact temperature set through the dial, within a safe operating range. In case of the digital vaporizer, the base unit will warm up if need be and will maintain the exact temperature
Warranty wise, the classic version comes with a 3 years of warranty while the digital version offers only 2 years of warranty.
